Auditions
We are looking for cast for the Theatre in the Rough Festival 2012.
We will be producing 10 new monologues and 10 short audio-plays, based around Liverpool's links with the Titanic, to be performed on Thursday 5th and Friday 6th July 2012.
The performances will take place at Old Christ Church in Waterloo, Liverpool, as part of a week-long Titanic installation marking the centenary of its sinking.
Auditionees should prepare a text-based dramatic presentation of between 2 and 5 minutes. This can mean anything, as long as it involves you performing something that contains at least some element of speech in it. If you wish, you may audition as a pair, but this is not a guarantee that both auditionees will be successful.
Auditions are taking place at Old Christ Church, Waterloo Road (on the junction with Alexandra Road), Waterloo, Liverpool L22 1RE (see map below), on Sunday 22nd April and Sunday 13th May. By appointment only - please email info@theatreintherough.com to request a time. You may attach a CV if you wish.
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide payment for these positions, but it will be a great addition to a CV, and provides the exciting challenge of working with never-before performed writing.
